Mother of Pearl

1kg of real Mother of Pearl pieces.

Obtained from real seashells, this is added to plasters to produce shiny dots/glints and decorative shell colours on the surface of the finish. It comes in three sizes: fine, medium, and coarse. The finest one is usually used with Marmorino Medium and Coarse; medium and coarse with Pastellone Medium

Available in three different grain sizes:

Fine (0.4 – 0.8mm) – For addition into Pastellone Fine Marmorino Medium and Coarse
Medium (0.8 – 1.2mm) – For addition into Marmorino Medium, Marmorino Coarse, Pastellone Medium and Lava
Coarse (1.2 – 1.8mm) – Thick applications of Pastellone Medium

Add the desired amount into the plaster and mix well. This should be used for the second and third coats.
