DESCRIPTION

Hydrocement is a mineral-based, micro-thickness coating specifically developed for use in wet areas, such as shower walls, shower trays, and the walls and floors of bathrooms and saunas. It is also suitable for application on other interior wall surfaces. This coating prevents water penetration, thereby protecting the finish from stains when applied in wet environments.

Hydrocement is a versatile solution composed of quartz, marble, and cement, bonded with acrylic resins and hydro-repellent additives. It is used in conjunction with Pastellone: first, apply one coat of Pastellone, followed by two coats of Hydrocement. For more information on application methods, please refer to the TDS.

Coverage – For 1 sqm: for the first coat use 850 g of Pastellone Medium (powder weight). For the second + third coat use 900 g of Hydrocement (powder weight)

Application – Refer to TDS

Dilution – To achieve the desired paste consistency, mix water with Hydrocement at a ratio of 300ml per 1 kg.

Colours – Available in White, or order a colour pack from the Stucco Italiano range. Colour supplied in separate container. We also offer a colour matching service. Remember colours will vary depending on your monitor.

Type of Surface – Interior vertical surfaces, including wet areas such as showers. Interior flooring of low traffic wet areas, such as: bathroom, saunas, and shower trays
