This is a natural mineral lime-based wall covering for fine decorative finishes on interior and exterior surfaces.
Marmorino Medium can be polished to the desired level of sheen. The slightly larger marble particle size than the Marmorino Fine means that the patterning and movement is generally more subtle. These marble grains are visible as small points of pale grey colour which are more or less apparent depending on the application style
Key characteristics are hardness and the ability of the material to cope with high humidity; lime plasters from Stucco Italiano are zero VOC natural products that offer benefits for those with respiratory disorders with no off-gassing and a natural resistance to mould and microbial growth.
Marmorino Coarse is a thicker version of Marmorino Medium and similar to the antique Marmorino of Venice which had a total final thickness of about 3 millimetres. It is also appreciated for its calm texture and looks more like polished stone. This is an elegant satiny finish which is ideal for contemporary minimalist interiors as well as traditional homes and offers a sophisticated backdrop to elegant living. This semi-gloss finish with light chiaroscuro was the traditional exterior finish of all the Venetian villas and important buildings.
A very subtle and pretty variation is to add Mother of Pearl.
